Introduction: Somatostatin analogues (SA) are the first-line treatment for Acromegaly in patients whose surgery failed to achieve cure or it was contraindicated. The main reported adverse events of SA are mild and transient, and include nausea, abdominal cramps, diarrhea and flatulence.
